Man, those Epstein Files must be REALLY bad!
The distractions are piling up...
In no particular order:
Ordered the release of the Epstein, sorry Amelia Earhart, files
Hyped up his attacks on various political opponents. So far Comey, James and Bolton have been indicted.
Sent troops into multiple US cities
Milked the hoo-ha surrounding the killing of Charlie Kirk. Was it a god-given opportunity or what? Think about that question.
Overseen the murder of at least 27 civilians who may or may not have been innocent fishermen.
Ended a 3000-year war in the Middle East. Oh, sorry, looks like that's on aagain.
Flown to Alaska to hobnob with a brutal dictator on the red carpet he humiliated American servicemen to roll out.
Tinkered with tariffs multiple times including the lates increase of a further 100% on China
reduced drug prices by 1400% (his words)
Filed an extraordinary number of lawsuits
Sang his own praises while awarding Charlie Kirk a medal of Freedom
Raised and dashe Ukrainian hopes a few times.
Jetted to the UK to hobnob with King Charles and got called a cunt by British protesters
Embroiled himself with a trifling Cracker barrel dispute.
Began construction of a new ballroom at the White House
Increased his net worth by several billion with various grifts.
Sent the stockmarket plunging
Sent the stockmarket soaring again.
Inspired American supporters at the Ryder Cup Golf to display their ugly side.
Welcomed his granddaughter into the family grift machine
Sent his personal attorney now masquerading as Deputy AG to conduct a soft ball interview with a notorious trafficker
Contrived to get aforementioned child abuser transferred to a softer prison.
Addressed a multiude of generals in an hour-long meandering mish-mash of nonsensical nothingness
Claimed he hadn't heard the sex trafficker's name in such a long time.
Fired a top Federal prosecutor and appointed a beauty pageant runner up in his place
Got a couple of late night hosts fired and then reinstated.
Tried to get rid of birthright citizenship
Trampled on First Amendmet rights in a variety of ways.
Sent out innumerable insane Truths
Set out to sens an incriminating message to Pammy Blondy but inexplicably posted it to Truth Social instead.
Blamed Biden for weaponising the FBI on J6 when he was actually President himself.
In a line-up of presidential portraits, had Biden's picture replace with one of an autopen
Suggested he would prevent FIFA World Cup matches from being played in certain cities
Hinted he might pardon the sex trafficker and child abuser
Praised the architect of Project 2025 despite earlier claiming to know nothing about him/it.
Added several tons more of gold-painted kitsch to the White House
Told anyone who would listen that he really deserved the Nobel Peace Prize
Threw a petulant wobbly after things went wrong at the UN!
Told pregnant wome not to take Tylenol about 50 times in a single speech
Declared Antifa which is an idea to be a terrorist organisation.
Hmmmm... I'm sure I've missed quite a few. Who can help?

A big-enough library hasn't been built.
RE: Man, those Epstein Files must be REALLY bad!
Fighting with Zelensky. How is it possible Trump seems to place the invader and the victim of invasion on the same plane?
Destroying the east Wing!
Illegally killing more South Americans.
Pardoning George Santos.
Release the files!
I guess no one wanted to even attempt to answer my question in the Riddle thread as to why he fights so hard to keep this stuff secret. let's assume for a moment that Trump is not incriminated in the material held by the FBI. Is there another possible motivation?
It strikes me that if it's not Trump himself then it must be someone close to him or someone with massive power over him.
Another question to think about. How do you envisage this saga ending? So called Transparent Mike Johnson will eventually have to swear in the new rep who will be the 218th vote needed to force a vote. It will be interesting to see which GOP members suddenly decide to change their vote rather than being forced to explain to angry constituents why they are voting to protect pedophiles.
Follow-on question. When the release is forced, will the 'stuff' still be there to be released. I'm imagining a lot of mice may have been nibbling at the edges of all those wonderful files in the last few months...
Sorry, folks, nothing to see here!
Aren't we just a little bit curious to find which Prime Minister it was who brutally raped Virginia Giuffre?
RE: Man, those Epstein Files must be REALLY bad!
I'm as interested as the two of you are with whatever really happened with the Epstein files. The argument of Trump creating distractions is not a good one, because Trump has been doing a ton of stuff from day one. Pretty much every day there is something new to distract from whatever he did yesterday.
Seems like there was a pretty good chance Epstein was killed. Also seems like a good chance that the Epstein files are a lot less exciting than people think, and that releasing them would start a nonpartisan witch hunt, indiscriminately tarnishing every name, regardless of their real involvement. This is just speculation though.
RE: Man, those Epstein Files must be REALLY bad!
Possibly all true but still doesn't answer the question of why he's fighting so hard to keep them secret. If they're as boring as you suggest, they would have released them long ago!
As for distraction or not, it's just an extension of flooding the zone. I believe that tactic was one of Steve Three-Shirts Bannon's bright ideas. It has meant all along that a scandal which may well have dogged any other President soon fades away as the glare of the spotlight picks up on the next story.
Why won't he release the files, something easily done, something he promised his base many times, something that is making some of them really angry and confused...?
RE: Man, those Epstein Files must be REALLY bad!
He's possibly under threat not to from influential people who could be seriously compromised. Influential people who are in a position to cause Trump a lot of problems.
It shouldn't be forgotten that Presidents don't just get to where they are because of public votes. There are people in whose interest it is that certain people are in office.
Even if Trump doesn't feature heavily in those files, his 'friends' might. And when you are President, you tend to have the type of friends who can very easily become enemies. Dangerous enemies.
RE: Man, those Epstein Files must be REALLY bad!
^^ That's exactly it.
RE: Man, those Epstein Files must be REALLY bad!
I read somewhere that Virginia Giuffre was about to release a tell-all book. Which may explain the recent decision for Prince Andrew to drop his Duke of York title...
RE: Man, those Epstein Files must be REALLY bad!
LET THEM EAT CRACK!
Amidst crippling shut-down,
Trump builds ball room in town.
Bulldozers ding
White House east wing,
And soon he'll want a crown.
Oh yes, a good-ole-boy soiree at the people's house will surely get Dems and Repubs to sing Kumbaya, as they lock fingers, and re-open the government.
Question is: can king Trump take his fancy disco hall with him when he's compelled to vacate his official manor? And when out, will he ever be invited back there?
