A link to this popped up on my newsfeed today.

It purports to be a community in which regular contests are run, judged by pros with prize money of 15,000 dollars.

You pay 35 dollars for entry. Is the genuine or a scam? Has anyone seen it, heard of it or tried it?

I haven't heard of that one, but the entry fee sounds a bit steep. The best way to check out such sites is to do a google search with the site name and "scam" in the search bar. One or two disgruntled people may complain about even good sites, but if you see a lot of bad feedback, that's a pretty good indication to stay clear.

I've done a bit of digging. It seems that it's legit in the strict sense of the word, but questions have arisen about the judging, etc.

I am not going to go in for it, I have not the time in any case. I was just curious.
