On Saturday, May 3, 2025, WLRN Florida aired the Clint Eastwood movie Escape from Alcatraz. On Sunday May 4, Donald Trump proposed on Truth Social the reopening and expansion of Alcatraz prison. It's enlightening to see where Donald Trump gets his inspiration for his carefully thought-out policies.
Let's just hope that The Purge, Escape From New York and Robocop aren't shown on Florida TV any time soon.
P.S. I sure hope Escape From Alcatraz is an entirely American-made film. It would be a shame have to put a 100% tariff on it.
P.P.S. Has anyone else noticed how his press conferences, which have always been a shambles, are becoming increasingly rambling and incoherent with every passing day?

I read about the proposed re-opening of Alcatraz. I'm starting to think people are now just nodding and smiling and yes-bossing in the knowledge that yet another hare-brained scheme will be forgotten in five minutes.

Sadly...I have to say, you're exactly right, Emma, trump's followers will be ready and waiting to
smile and yes him...so as not to upset their boss!
That's the way of the Republican party right now, but hope is still alive, and maybe some of them will
finally wake up...soon...
