BE STILL
let time wash over you and onto the river of life
forget the suffering
you reside in the house of God
BE STILL

"Be still" is a command to stop striving, relax, and surrender, often used in a spiritual context. In the Bible, particularly Psalm 46:10, it carries a deeper meaning of ceasing your own efforts to know and trust in God, who is sovereign and in control. This concept also appears in secular mindfulness, encouraging a quiet pause to reflect, de-stress, and listen to one's inner thoughts or a higher power.
Psalm 46:10
He says, "Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth."
