The Magical Moon

by Boogienights

The Moon Contest Winner

The glowing moon provides the light,
as lovers navigate the night.
There's magic in that bright moonbeam,
as in the silver stars that gleam.

God holds his lantern, as the day,
steadily, slowly, slips away.
As night falls He will hold it high,
its beauty piercing through the sky.

The moon controls the ocean's tides,
by moon's direction, it abides.
The sun, it warms us, day by day,
the moon, it keeps the dark at bay.

The mysteries the moon may hold,
are future stories yet untold.
Discoveries within its glow,
are things that we will one day know.
