A boy's afternoon bike ride.
He Done Her Wrong
by howard11
Tad pedaled as fast as his 10-year-old legs could muster. Effort and July sunshine poured sweat into his eyes, salting growing tears.
Within ten minutes he turned into the driveway and threw his bike to the ground. He ran to the front door, pushed it open and yelled, "Mom!"
"In the kitchen," answered Marian Stevens. When her son entered the room, he was teary-eyed and visibly winded. "Sit and calm down. What's wrong?"
"I saw dad holding hands with a blonde woman in Monroe Park. Mom, they kissed before she got into a car and left."
"Go shower...I'll handle it."
