I stopped begging for peace and started to embody it
A chapter in the book Verre De Mer
Alignment
by Britt-Leigh T
| Background When life broke apart, she learned how to rebuild-piece by piece, truth by truth. "Verre De Mer" is a deeply human story about resilience, motherhood, and finding your way back to yourself. |
Manifestation was never about wishing. It was about alignment -- matching my energy with what I wanted instead of what I feared.
For a long time, I thought manifesting meant asking the universe to fix what hurt. But the truth is, the universe doesn't respond to begging; it responds to belief. It mirrors the vibration you live in, not the one you're desperate to reach.
When I finally stopped begging for peace and started embodying it, my world began to shift. Opportunities arrived quietly. Conversations that used to drain me began to fall away. People showed up with the answers I had once prayed for, but now expected with calm certainty.
The more I trusted the flow, the more life flowed toward me.
I learned that surrender isn't the same as giving up. It's faith in motion- it's saying, I have done my part, now I will let life do the rest.
When I stopped needing everything to happen on my timeline, miracles started showing up on their own. The right doors opened. The wrong ones closed gently, sometimes without explanation. And I began to understand that manifestation isn't magic- it's partnership.
We are always manifesting- through our thoughts, our words, and our beliefs. The question is: What are we creating?
Every thought is a seed. Every emotion, a signal. The universe is always listening, not to what we say, but to what we vibrate.
So now I speak softly to my dreams, and I treat my energy like a prayer. Because I know whatever I send out- love or fear, trust or doubt- it will always find its way back to me.

What I've learned is that it's really about who I am while I'm waiting- aligning my energy with peace, gratitude, and belief instead of fear. This chapter is about learning to trust the flow and realizing that what's meant for me never has to be chased- it will always find its way.
