The work hub buzzed with computer clicks as the day got underway.

Jimmie sipped his first coffee.

‘Hi Jim.’ Anna , the 30- something- exec. greeted him with a cheerful grin.

‘Today I’m done with work hubs,’ she declared. ‘Boring places where we sweat our best years for some corporate entity,’

Jimmie stared at her. Her outburst unnerved him.

Grabbing her back pack she walked through the revolving door, one last time. ‘Corporate prisoner no more.’ She shouted as she exited.

Jimmie stared through the first floor window and watched as Anna unchained her bike and disappeared from view.
