And all modern conveniences
Grandmas Love Technology
One day last year, I couldn't turn my television on
I bought it a few years ago; it came from Amazon
We laid it on the table; 'twas cold dead as an ice cube
We fixed it from help videos that we found on YouTube
And talking about Amazon, I wish I had bought stock
I order almost every day; in stores it's hard to walk
I needed gifts ASAP for a sick friend of mine
At 6 AM I ordered and her gifts were here by 9
Encyclopedias were nice, but I like Google best
It answers what you asked, then like Paul Harvey, tells the rest
An email or a text instead of talking on the phone
A selfie here and there; I have 200 apps I own
I love the great convenience of my wonderful iPads
They're good as any computer that I have ever had
'Cause it expands, then I can write, and it helps me to see
I have a floating one in bed, I love technology
No better way than Facebook when you want to stay in touch
We're family at FanStory, we care so very much
I'm glad it didn't make life easy much before this age
If I was young and strong, I might think it's a lazy stage
