Teri's 69 Today

She loves to sing to her dear Lord, of her undying love

She knows someday she'll be with Him, in heaven up above


And Teri knows that He can hear her as she sings her songs

She wishes we could feel her joy and we could sing along


She has such purpose in her life, that only God can give

Her life is now so super-blessed, the way she wants to live


And Tom is the love of her life; he takes good care of her

He loves her tender, loves her true, an Elvis kind of stir 


Her three sons have endured much change, but they are doing well

Her grandson, Greyson always keeps grandma under his spell


And Teri will befriend the strays and shows them welcome mats

She'd rescue all of them and they would all become her cats


Yes, this is Teri's birthday poem and she is 69

Enjoy it while you can; a new decade's on the next line


Don't worry about 70, that's one whole year away

We'll think about this year and wish you a Happy Birthday 


And Teri we want you to know there's one more wish in store

Remember we love you, but we know Jesus loves you more!
