Lullabies of Love

Let me sing a lullaby

Underneath a magic moon;

Lilac whispers paint the sky;

Lilting notes begin to croon.

As you drift upon the beams,

Breathing softly on my breast,

I will watch you as you dream,

Eyes half closed in slumber's rest.

Safe within my arms ~ and blessed.

Over starlit skies you roam,

Flying high and far from home.

Leave your fretting cares behind;

Only hear me... gentle, true,

Very soon I hope you'll find,

Each song's filled with love for you.
