Everyday should be this way

National Say Something Nice Day

Today's "National Say Something Nice Day"

So show kindness in everything you say

Respect for others is the only way

There's always something good we can convey


A friend who will allow you to confide

 Will be the kind who's always by your side

Encouragement should be each other's guide

How you treat others should fill you with pride


And if you have a problem with someone 

The tone of anger should be turned to none

It doesn't mean your talk has to be fun

But cruelty eats you up when it is done


To anyone that you happen to meet

It may be at your work or on the street

Be caring, loving and try to be sweet

And when your day ends, you will feel complete
