Let go and let God was my mom's favorite saying

What I Decided ~ (Part 2)

by Debi Pick Marquette

I asked you all what you would do

You showed you care

I felt support in your review

'Cause you were there

How could the church not ever know

The other side he didn't show

The records at the church were bare

You showed you care

About him I already knew

In church he'd stare

I should have guessed he'd cheat me too

It's so unfair

My plot was twice what he should take

The books don't show his sly mistake

Thank God for friendships, yours so rare

You showed you care

Now I have thought this through and through

With lots of prayer

You answered me, and I thank you

It's why I share

So, to my aunt my plot I'll give

'Cause with myself I have to live

If I forgive, I can repair

You showed you care
